How To Reduce Stress.

Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, the stress gets to you. When this happens, you can’t think clearly. Your head is jammed with different thoughts and it feels like there are a billion bees in there having a field day. 

Hi there! Today let’s talk about de-stressing. and dealing with challenging situations in our daily lives. Certainly challenges can come from anywhere, causing stress and anxiety to you. It could be from your work, maybe you have work overload and so much pending work on you work station.

It could also arise as a result of family issues, either from your marriage, relationship or taking care of kids. It could be personal challenges arising from worry over your finance, health, or life generally. Personally for me,I do have a lot on my plate especially with school, so I find myself overly stressed out sometimes. 

When Stress Takes Over
Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, the stress gets to you. When this happens, you can’t think clearly. Your head is jammed with different thoughts and it feels like there are a billion bees in there having a field day. You may find yourself not making right or thoughtful decisions as you would have normally done.

Stress can affect you physically, emotionally, mentally and so on. You could have headaches, feel tense, look and feel tired. Sometimes when you feel stressed, you may find it very difficult to stay calm and may find yourself snapping or getting angry at very little things. This applies also to those times when you see someone you know and try to chit-chat with them but you get ignored. 

This may cause you to wonder if you have done anything wrong to that person. 
Note this: It is not your fault. So do not take it personal. Maybe that person is currently dealing with Challenges in his or her personal life at that moment. So you just caught the person at the wrong moment.

How To Reduce Stress

How then can one deal with Stress, and Stay fresh even in the midst of stress and challenges?
Firstly, you need to renew your inner self. This entails taking a moment for yourself to clear your head. Take a breath, and yourself some few minutes to re-arrange your thoughts.

Secondly, Take time out for yourself. I call this the ‘Me time’. Do something Nice and pampering just for yourself. Let it be something you enjoy doing, that helps to relax you. It could be yoga, taking a walk, listening to music, and so on. Just do whatever hobby you love, and have fun doing it.

Thirdly, endeavour to REST. You absolutely need this. Going on and on with work or your responsibilities without taking a Rest can be devastating for one’s health and peace of mind.
Lastly, It All begins with you. You owe it to yourself to Love and pamper yourself. Take time out from your busy schedule to just focus on yourself. That way you can come back refreshed and ready to bounce back to work and to your daily activities.
